VLANs on Dell PowerEdge 2950 - causing ARP problems

I have a Dell PE 2950 running VMWare Server 1.0.3 and it is running great.  The issue is what it's doing to our routers and the rest of our network.  I has been randomly stealing IP addresses from other production servers by sending fake ARP announcements.  I have finally traced the issue back to the VMWare server and finally to the broadcom 5708 Driver/Software.  I noticed that all IP addresses brought online by all of the VMs on this server are reporting the mac address of the actual physical adapter rather then the vmware generated one.  I have used the Broadcom BACS2 software to build all of the vlans and then have bridged them to the various VMs.  I'm starting to think that this is the cause of the ARP problems but I  would love to hear some feedback from other people.  I'll happily provide more details on the situation / our environment.

I have done the implemented a similar setup on other servers, one using Broadcom adapters and the other using Intel Pro/1000 adapters.  The server with the broadcom adapter is experiencing the same behavior of not allowing the generated mac addresses to be seen but yet the node with the Intel cards is doing so just fine.

Thank you in advance.
