At upgrading a W2003 Enterprise Server SP1 guest on Linux from GSX to Server 1.04, Windows crashes after installing the new VMWare Tools. It happens at logon:
"Der Systemprozess Windows Logon Process wurde unerwartet beendet. Staus 0x00000080 (0x00000000 0x00000000).
Das System wurde heruntergefahren."
Linux is Debian Etch with kernel 2.6.22.5.
Upgrading a WinXP guest works, but both guests needs always two runs fot VMWare Tool installation. After first run, Tools are still marked as outdated, after second (option "repair") run it is ok for WinXP (and above crash for Windows Server).
