So when I'm trying to rsh from my VMware SuSE 10.2 Host to my VMware SuSE 10.2 Guest on that box a simple command like 'rsh host-name ls' does it time out with a 'protocol failure in circuit setup' on a host-only network?
This has worked before but sometimes, like now, after a reboot of the Guest and/or shutting down the Guests and then rebooting the Host and bringing everything back up this occurs. Like now. This doesn't always happen but it happens enought to be annoying and make VMware unreliable.
ssh works but rsh gets this ' protocol failure in circuit setup' error and I don't have a definitive way to get it working. It seems I'm at it's mercy as to when it wants to start working again.
