/PAE and /3GB on w2k3 EE

Hi

i want to setup severals VM on 8Go Ram Server using windows 2003 EE 64bits R2 SP and virtual server

does i need to setup the /PAE and /3GB switch on boot.ini of the windows server ?

does i need to activate theses switchs in the VM ?

anything else to know about this ?
