Attaching a partition of a physical disk as a holder for ISO image

I was determined this morning to use a disk with the ISO image in order to install windows.  Here is how I tried to do it.

using the configuration editor on the new quest VM, I started to add a new hard drive.I select "Use a physical device" / Choose "PhysicalDrive2" and "use individual partitions" /  But when the next screen asked to select the partition, it just showed me one partition (the WHOLE drive capacity). 

This drive is a hard drive on the VM Server (500GB) and I have three small partitions already defined (10GB - formatted, 12GB - formatted and 12GB - unformatted).  The rest of the drive is unallocated.

Am I doing something wrong?
