vmwareuser.exe on a Terminal Server

Hello,

is it realy nescessery that the vmwareuser.exe is started for every user on a Terminal Server. I suspect performance issues when 20+ users are logged on to this system.

I user VMware Server 1.0.6 on a Windows 2003 Enterprise host 10GB. The guest is Windows 2003 standard with 3.6GB memory. We use the onboard disks (RAID 10) on a Proliant DL380G5 server.
