I have installed VMWare Server 1.0.6-91891. My host is Vista Ultimate and the guest is Windows Server 2003 Standard.
The host is running Windows Firewall.
My problem is that I cannot bring up a remote desktop connection to the guest (Windows Server) from other PCs on my LAN when the host firewall is ON. I know it is the firewall that is causing the probem because it works when I turn it OFF. The firewall has an exception for "Remote Desktop" and this appears to be working because I can RDP into the host no problems.
I can't see any setting in the firewall to get this working. Is there anyway to allow this without turning the firewall off?
