I want to check with you guys to see if you guys have have any issues with this. I recently upgraded my Bitdefenter Antivirus v10 Plus to Bitdefenter Internet Security 2008 ( both have Antivirus, firewall antispam...) and since then I am having issues with my VMWare virtual machine are not getting the IP address from my DHCP server if disable the Internet Security 2008 firewall my VMWare works with no problem. If I hard code the IP, DNS I can ping devices even the yahoo IP address but again any application that uses a TCP / IP connection doesn't work. I have included to the firewall exception list the VMware process that my previous firewall had but I still do see any sucess. I have created a case with the Bitdefenter tech support but I think they don;t know maybe you guys know what could be happening.
