Using the free VMWare server in a test environment - W2K3 64-bit host OS and guest OS, from time to time, the guest OS's NIC stops responding. It is not DISABLED; it does not register as NOT CONNECTED. The fix is to DISABLE the guest OS's NIC, then re-enable it. After doing that, the NIC responds properly again.
The only thing I see in the event logs - shown below (system log). Other guest VMs on the same server sometimes lose their connections, and sometimes don't. Anyone have any idea what may be causing this & how to fix?
