Hi...
Can I access a PCIe card (video capture card) from a guest if the host OS doesnt have the drivers to handle it or the card is not properly recognise by the host server ?
My problem is that I have a video capture card and there is no drivers for Windows 2008 64 bits and Windows 2003 neither. I've contact the card manufacturer and they told me that there card is only compatible with Windows XP 32 bits and they don't plan to develope any 64 bits, Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 drivers. So i want to make a virtual machine with Windows XP Pro to access the video card. Is it possible to access the card if the host OS can't handle it ? The host OS is Windows 2008 (64 bits) right now, but i can change for Windows 2003 (64 bits) if it doesn't work with 2008...
i'm waiting for an answer shortly... thanks!
