I want to restore snapshots faster ...

Hi all.  I have a demo laptop that uses a VM image of Windows 2003 with Active Directory.  I built it the way I wanted and created a snapshot.  It takes about 12 minutes for the snapshot to load (768 MB of memory used for the VM).

I notice that the server is available almost immediately, but it is too slow to use until the snapshot is fully loaded.  Is there a way to disable the server until the snapshot is fully loaded?

I am using W2K3 as the host and VMWare Server 1.0.7.
