Host and Guest Cannot Communicate Over Network Shares

I have seen many posting to this problem, but no resolutions.

I have a Windows 2003 R2 32 bit Host running VMWare Server.

On this VMWare Host I am running 1 guest (Windows Server 2003 R2 64 bit).

A single NIC configured as bridged.

Host and guest successfully receive IP addresses from company DHCP Server.

Both the host and guest can access shares on other networked Servers.

Also, other servers/workstations can access shares on the Host and Guest.

However, the Guest cannot access network shares on the host, and the host cannot access network shares on the guest.

Host and Guest CAN ping each other.

All firewalls are turned off.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
