Hard disk and process problems

I installed VMWare Server 1.0.5 on Debian Stable (Etch) and I have a question and a problem.

Is it normal to have the vmware-vmx process in this situation showing in "top"?

I migrated a Windows 2000 Server virtual machine on this server from an old VMWare server, but now I have some problems with the hard disk of the virtual machine.

The event viewer of Windows 2000 Server shows me a lot of these errors:

Could these error be related to the migration of the virtual machine?

Could be the .vmdk files corrupted?

How can I solve this problem?

Thank you very much!

Bye.
