Anyone solve this vmrun problem?

I've seen a number of posts on this problem with no solutions.. just try this and that and no one saying anything worked for them. Needless to say I tried everything I saw and still have the same problem.

Host: Linux SUSE 10.2

VM Server 1.0.3

VM Server console 1.03

I also installed VMware-VmPerlAPI-1.0.3-44356.tar.gz and VMware-vix-1.0.3-44356.tar.gz but that made no difference.

I can revert to snapshot, but not "start" using vmrun.

The command is:

vmrun start vm84-iso_upgrade.vmx

And I get this:

Error: Command failed: A file was not found

P.S. We use vmrun on other hosts with VMWare WorkStation 5.5... do I need to install that even if we want to use VMWare Server 1.0.3 on this host?
