Hi, I have a VM-newbie question for y'all. We're about to roll out VMware Server on a Dell PowerEdge 2650 with 8GB of RAM. The PE 2650 will not support a Win x64 OS, so we were going to use Win2k3 Server Enterprise (32-bit) in order to enable PAE support to get to all 8GB of memory. One of our IT team members has minor concerns about the stability of using Win2k3 Enterprise with PAE support. Has Win2k3 Enterprise proved stable and reliable for you folks with 4GB+ RAM with VMware Server? Any hiccups or snags to be aware of? Thanks in advance.
FYI, we're already running VMware Server on a PE 2850 with 8GB and Win2k3 Standard R2 x64 (geez that's long) and it works like a dream.
