Hello,

I Have a PCMCIA modem (3G-UMTS) which allow me to gain direct access to internet.

The modem is correctly visible  on Windows, and work perfectly.

I have a LAN network wich work fine.

The LAN network (my job) use routable IP. So when I try to access a local server, it use the 3G modem in place of the LAN.

I remove ROUTE to my 3G modem, so the LAN is now available, but my VM is in the LAN so. I want the VM be directly to the INTERNET.

I would like to assign the modem (and the network of the modem) to a virtual machine.

I have deleted Standard network created by VMWARE.

When I go to the properties of my 3G Modem,  VMWare Bridge Protocol, the field is blank. When I assign manually a number, apply and save, go back to properties, VMNET number is still blank.

Do you have any solution for that ?
