64-bit guest operating systems are not supported?? Opposite to vmware guideline?

Hi,

I have installed VMware Server 1.0.6 on a WIndows 2003 Standard x64 machine. When I tried to create a new virtual machine

with a guest of 64-bit (i.e. Windows 2003 Server x64) on the VM Server, it stated that

"64-bit guest operating systems are not supported by this host and will not run."

However, on "Guest operating system guideline" http://www.vmware.com/pdf/GuestOS_guide.pdf,

page 37-38, "Windows 2003 Serve 64-bit, it should be supported by VMware Server 1.0.6.

Am I confused with the meaning of the guideline? Or I used a 32-bit VMware Server Installer.

Does any expert comment on this?
