VMware running on CentOS 5 host????

Has anyone tried to run VMWare-Server 1.0.3 on CentOS 5.0 or RedHat Enterprise Linux 5?

I haven't found a thing about this on the Internet, despite hours searching.  So, I thought I would try it out.

I am writing this from my laptop, "Idaho", which is a Sony VGN-A790 with CentOS 5.0, updated to the latest and greatest, with WindowMaker 0.91 installed (Gnome sucks too much CPU due to some sort of bug involving it, Xorg, ACPI, the kernel and my sainted Aunt Hilda's kidney-stones (or some combination thereof)--ditching Gnome in favor of the light-weight and very stable WindowMaker sorted that problem out mostly.  Anyhow, for those interested:

Host Operating System:  CentOS 5.0, 32bit updated.

GUEST operating system:  Windows 2003 Advanced Server

Memory 1 GB

Guest Memory 512 MB.

Any-to-Any patch \*NOT* installed--this is a stock install of VMware Server 1.0.3 and...

\!!! IT WORKS !!!!

So far, at least---(and I have the VM doing a virus-scan, so that's fairly CPU-intense/resource intense....)
