Looking for feedback/ideas for backup/restore utility

I've been updating my backup utility at: http://computing.dwighthubbard.info/index.php/software/vmware-server-backup/

The utility has a good deal of functionality but I am looking for issues and ideas for improvements.  I placed this question on my blog but I figured I could get more feedback here.

Currently I have the following implemented:

All the backup options are selectable via the command line (no editing of the script required to use it)

Support for VMware Server 1.0.x, VMware Server 2.0 Beta, VMware Workstation and untested support for ESX and VMware Fusion.

It currently can perform hot backups using LVM Snapshots under VMware Server 1.0.x and hot backups using either LVM Snapshots or VMware Snapshots under VMware Server 2.0 Beta and VMware Workstation.  It can also do Cold backups on VMware Server 1.0.x and VMware Workstation.

It can backup to uncompressed tar archives, gzipped tar archives, bzip2 tar archives, and iso CD/DVD image files.

It supports backing up to a remote Unix/Linux host over an encrypted ssh connection.

It is smart enough to search for support binaries if they are not in the path, so it can easily be put into cron.

I have a simple restore utility to restore the archives.

Both debian/ubuntu and rpm packages are available to hopefully make installation easier.

I'm currently working on writing a "Backup Wizard" and "Restore Wizard" to provide a GUI for point and click operation.

If you have any additional ideas for improvements or bug fixes - please post them.
