Problem using LPT-PCI card - very urgent

Hello everybody,

I've got a really annoying Problem going on. We are installing a Server

for a customer and there is a Windows 98 virtual machine running in

VMWare Server 1.0.9.

A special software that runs in that vm, needs a license dongle.

We've installed the card (Exsys 41011) and tried to forward the LPT to the vm by adding a parallel port to the vm settings.

As soon as we want to start the virtual machine we are getting this Error:

"Cannot open VMparport driver for LPT1: Überlappender E/-Vorgang wird verarbeitet

Virtual device parallel0 will start disconnected."

I've also attached a screenshot.
