This connection has limited or no connectivity

Hi

I seem to be having problems with my guest os using vmware server 1.0.3.  When I had vmware 1.0.2, I selected all the default options when installing it and the internet connection for the guess os worked perfectly.  However, now with vmware server 1.0.3, I had to use a patch to get 1.0.3 to work on ubuntu feisty fawn 7.04, even though I selected the default options when installing it.

Now when I enable the ethernet option, I get a message in the guess os saying:

Local Area Connection

This connection has limited or no connectivity.  You might not be able to access the Internet or some network resources, For more information, click this message.
